Frequently Asked Questions

I know choosing to work with a coach is a big step, and you might have some questions before getting started. Here are some answers to common queries to help you feel clear and confident about the journey ahead.

☁︎ How long is each coaching session?
  • Family Coaching: Each session is 90 minutes.
  • HSP Coaching: Sessions are 75 minutes, offering spacious support tailored to your sensitivity.
  • IFS-Informed Sessions: Sessions are 60 minutes, allowing time for gentle, focused inner work.
☁︎ How do I book a session?

You can book sessions by emailing me directly at coaching@verenapaloma.com . I’ll get back to you promptly to find a time that works for both of us.

☁︎ What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This helps me manage my schedule and offer your spot to someone else. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session rate, as I reserve the right to protect my time and availability for all clients. If I need to cancel a session, I will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule at a convenient time or provide a refund if needed.
☁︎ How many sessions will I need?
Every coaching journey is unique, and the number of sessions depends on your personal goals and circumstances.

Family Coaching: Typically, 8 to 10 sessions are recommended to fully explore and work through deep patterns within family dynamics.

IFS-Informed Sessions: The number of sessions varies greatly depending on your personal journey and needs - there’s no set number.

HSP Coaching: This work is entirely client-driven, so the length of the coaching depends on your goals and comfort.
☁︎ Why is coaching priced this way?
This work isn’t quick or surface-level. It’s spacious, relational, and often life-changing. The pricing reflects not just the session time, but the depth of presence, care, and professional experience I bring to each conversation, as well as the energy I hold for you between sessions. Coaching is an investment in your inner world, your family, and the patterns you are ready to shift - gently, sustainably, and for good.
☁︎ What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to go, helping you build new perspectives and strategies to create meaningful change. Therapy often deals with healing past wounds and managing mental health challenges. Both are valuable, but coaching is action-oriented and future-focused, perfect for conscious growth in family dynamics and personal relationships.
